Cumming Families:

We wanted to bring you up to date on some changes that have been made to the way we teach and respond to behavior at our school.

The program called Positive Behavior Interventions System, PBIS for short, has four key components that we would like you to know about:

  • School-wide Expectations
  • Recognition System
  • Consistent Correction System
  • Data-Driven Decision Making

For your information, we have uploaded several documents that we use as a staff to guide our Positive Behavior Intervention System.  Here, you will find a) a letter with more detailed information about the PBIS system b) School-wide Expectations c) Student Behavior Management Process d) Behavior Referral Form e) intermediate and primary Problem Solving sheets.
